ClassNavigator is an Open Source web based system that assists learners and parents to keep up to date with class and school information. ClassNavigator is written in PHP & MySql.

Educators use ClassNavigator to easily share academic information with learners and their parents:

ClassNavigator is not designed to replace the marketing function of a school website. ClassNavigator is an active, academic communication tool used by teachers, learners and parents and a regular basis.

Educators log in to their school’s ClassNavigator website. They easily post announcements, notes, homework (with attachments), marks and messages for learners and parents. Learners and parents can log in from school, home or work to keep up-to-date with their announcements, homework, private progress reports, notes and mail messages.

Yes. ClassNavigator will extend and enhance an existing intranet installation:

• Secure access to marks, announcements and notes for learners, educators and parents off campus.
• No programming expertise required by educators to post class notes (with attached files), announcements, homework or marks.

Depending on the schools network infrastructure ClassNavigator can be hosted locally at a school.
