1. Click Mark Book under the Educator Menu.

2. Click on the term you require.

3. Choose from the drop-down arrow what you want to do; Add Marks, View/Edit all marks, etc.

4. Choose the class you wish to work with from the drop-down arrow. See example below.

5. Click “Go”

6. A New Progress Report will appear. Choose if you want the learners to be able to see their marks. If you click “Yes” then each learner will only be able to see their own mark and not the rest of the class’s marks.

7. Select the type of mark from the drop-down arrow; Normal mark, Exam mark, etc.

8. Type in the title of the test, assignment or task. You could type anything in this space (eg: date of test, topics covered).

9. Type in what the test was out of (eg 10, 20, 25, 100, etc).

10. If you would like, you can type in the weighting of the test if you know how much it counts towards the learners’ final mark (eg 10%, 25%). However, only the number is required not %. Choose if you want the learners to see the weighting.

11. Click the dot next to how you wish to enter the marks: typing them in one by one or by transferring them from an Excel spreadsheet that you have already saved.

12. Click “Post”.

13. Your entire class will appear with all the information you requested

14. Now you can type in a mark for each learner. Click “Save changes”.
